I was reading a well know authors web site and something hit me between the eyes.

Once i got my sight back I am changed forever.

What this dude told me was this>

When writing dialogue...
each charatcer has an agenda... so each spoken word has an agenda... since each person has their individual agenda ... then all lines of dialogue are different and sound different...
so most tags are redundant...

I myself had used dialogue to move the story forward but once I learned about agandas... simple!

Gosh isn't it obvious when someone tells you............?

So I am an idiot.. but if you didn't know about agenda's in dialogue.. then I am sharing my new found wisdom.

Cheers
Steve
