Ok, I know this Q has been asked a million times before, but does anyone know what the publishable length for a fantasy novel is? I seem to recall Fiona saying at the launch for Myrren's Gift that 130,000 words was the norm. The first draft of the first book in my trilogy is pretty much exactly 120,000 words, which leaves me about 10,000 short. Voyager seem to be number 1 publishers in OZ, so I want to stick with their guidelines if possible.

120,000 sounds more than reasonable. Have you had your work assessed/Proof-read? It will save you allot of time ,) [A=http://fantasyscifi.com/scribes]http://fantasyscifi.com/scribes[/A] :y
