Sorry you missed it.
Fiona's writing workshop took place at the Tea Tree Library last weekend (28th - 29th May)

Perhaps she can be persuaded (with lots of chocolate) to have another soon, perhaps even a week-long version in a secluded country church estate...

...and it was fantastic! We had familiar faces of Maggie, Neil and Donna from the book club - all very good writers already and gave so much to the weekend ....thank you all. And then we had a wonderful blend of writers, each of them so capable, and yet just needing that little push, that little dazzle of confidence to get up and get going. We had a couple of epiphanies, Trent, I'm pleased to say and our youngest writers was Yasmin, just 12, who is an awesome writer. We nearly asked her to leave because it was embarrassing. Yes, of course we'll do it again - just have to find another council that wants me to run it. Kylie, so sorry you missed it. Come to the next. F

Glad the workshop was another success event - and incredible that young writers emerge with talent and want to publish.

Have you thought of approaching the Charles Sturt Council - they have a community centre and library at West Lakes that runs different activities and a writing workshop might just be  what they are looking for.
