Okay you Queenslanders, I'll be there middish May to run a Master Class in worldbuilding in Brisbane (May 20) and to do a Get Writing and Get Published discussion on the Gold Coast (May 17). It's part of the Love Writing season for 2007 put on by the Queensland Writers Centre. Get hold of the prospectus - there are some great opportunities for budding writers so don't miss out on the program .... looks lively and comprehensive to me.

I would have done, Murray, but the dates got a bit stuffed and it turned out that instead of having one full free day in Brisbane - which I would have used for signings - I no longer have that day and it's going to be a bit of a rush. As I get closer, I'll know more about where my time is going but I know it's going to be tight. Hopefully we can catch up at one of the events. I'll keep you posted. Fx

I just checked out the QLD Writers Website - I think your discussion on the Gold Coast (Get Writing & Get Published ) might be sold out - they don't have it listed anymore? Wish I had seen that earlier - I certainly would have tried to come along. It sounds interesting. So does the masterclass, although a bit beyond my experience at the moment. Maybe next time, I will catch up with you one day! Have fun in Brissie.

I shall miss you Murray! Had hoped to meet. But very, very good chance I'll be up to Brisbane to promote Goddess. So perhaps we might get to say hello in person within the next eight months or so. I'll keep you posted. x
