Absolutely, or you have to introduce yourself as Kikiswriting and then the penny will drop for me! Yes, I had a chat to Lauren only last night actually and she said the sequel or next book in the Hawksworth series is already contracted by HarperCollins. She's working on a title and has just booked her trip to London to do a week's research in and around the locations where this tale will be set. And it's funny you should mention those loose ends. She smiled wickedly and said it was all intentional and that followers would be rewarded with information in the next novel so that all questions are answered. I'll let her know you enjoyed it!

Hey Batgirl Well now, Lauren is a real princess, you know. She doesn't like me to steal the limelight, even though I assure her that she really doesn't have any to steal at the present time! It's likely that she won't be on the same trip because the publisher is a bit funny about us working together - something about crime and fantasy not mixing and the fans from both genres feeling betrayed or confused. I can't see the fuss myself. However, I'll have to kill you if you tell LC this, but I know how to do her signature (pathetic scrawl) so if you want me to, we can just do this thing in Melbourne and she'll be none the wiser. Of course, if you want to talk to her, I do understand that and it might be worth you dropping her a line via her website. I, of course, will look forward hugely to seeing you and I know LC (I call her Elsie!) will be extremely chuffed to know you enjoyed BBB. Thanks so much. Fx
