December 10 at 6pm.

Please bring a plate of food - savoury is good at for that dinnertime slot, although some goodies are welcome - and something to drink although Dymocks usually throws in a few bottles of bubbly for us.

As usual we're expecting a big turnout including some of the Adelaide based authors. ,

Nothing formal planned - just a chance for everyone to catch up and socialise, as well as buy their Christmas presents!

See you then. , Fx

Welcome back Fiona! I'm hoping to make it this year if business doesn't call (touch wood!)

Hi Fiona, Thanks for confirming party date (and it's the day after my birthday, so the celebrations can continue!) Terame - hope you can make it! Kimberley

OOOOPPPS and *amn... this week is my last week of teaching and on Monday we had a 4 hour non-stop cooking class instead of the usual psychology lesson - by the time I cleaned up and sorted myself out I forgot it was the party and missed out. I am sure that it was the usual roaring success and wish all members the Seasons best - Mewrry Christmas and Happy New Year - hopefully will see you next year.. :)

It was a GREAT night. Sean Williams, Tony Shillitoe, Joel Shepherd, David Cornish all arrived to join the club and then the celebrations. In fact we had to throw everyone out by the night's end to close the shop! Thanks all for the great spread and all the goodies exchanged. We're all wishing our wonderful Nigelle-Ann every good thing under the sun as she prepares to head off on a fantastic adventure overseas with her young family. We have no idea what they're going to do, where they'll end or when or even whether they'll return to Australia but she knows where we are each month and plans to drop by electronically from whichever exciting port she's in. Congratulations to all the people studying who have done so well. We're wishing Jodie and Keith a safe and soon delivery of their beautiful daughter who seems destined to arrive on Christmas Day. It was great to see everyone and Shane Dix sends his apologies for missing out - he really wanted to be with us. Aren't we lucky to have so many fab authors in SA! My personal thanks to Sean, Tony, Joel and David - we love it when you drop in. Merry Christmas / Happy Midsummer to all our members and the next club gathering is in February. Jude has details of date and books. Fx
