Hello All Don't forget that the first Monday of next month is a public holiday. We will be meeting on the 2nd Monday - October 8 - for this session only. And with some luck Tony Shillitoe will be coming along so bring books if you want them signed. Reading for this month is Stephenie Meyer's Twilight, a YA fantasy novel (volume 1) that is a best seller overseas. You don't need to read the entire series to enjoy the tale, which readers of any age from teenagers on can appreciate. Also, we celebrate our 5th anniversary at our next meeting. Extraordinary! Nigelle-Ann who heads up our book club had a very serious car accident last month resulting in a head injury that has sidelined her for the last five weeks. She is recovering slowly but we spoke to her last night and she was very miffed to have missed a book club meet and sends all her love and thanks for the concern. There's a card at Dymocks for all to sign. Feel free to drop in and write a message to her. See you in October. Fx
