You're all very kind - Jaimquon's got the right idea in giving them to a child. I am really very nervous about all you adults possibly reading it. I don't do blood, gore or torture in this...well, only a very little bit (sigh). Actually there was a lot more to start off and then the publisher got a fright and I toned it all down. But I'm hoping youngsters will feel tense and get a kick out of it. I personally really enjoyed writing book 1 and especially book 4. I've just finished the final sign off to print on book 4 and that's about the sixth time and I love it. There's a snake character in it that I truly enjoyed crafting and he came out of nowhere and I still don't know why! I heard today from Dymocks in Adelaide that they've ordered the series in, so obviously the national sell in to bookstores has begun. April for Severo's Intent and Saxten's Secret. Thanks again. F
