Hmmm. Getting back to basic high school astronomy here ... Vega, Polaris, Sirius, didn't quite make it - and I really don't want to Google it. Can I use Orien as 4 and 5. I know that is a small group of stars as in "Orien's Belt". Thanks goodness for the movie Men In Black!

Sorry Murray, Orion is a constellation. The three stars in Orion's belt are all super-giants about 20 times the size of our sun and are named Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka; not names that exactly roll off the tongue. I'll admit I only remembered one of them and had to look up the other two. The first three are fine though.

Hint: one's really, really close :)

Phil

Ahh. Penny drops. Ok. The Sun. How could I have overlooked that one. Feeling a bit sheepish now ;-) And I did remember another one ( although I hope it isn't another constellation now ), so here are my official five stars: Vega, Polaris, Sirius, The Sun and Betelguese ( Yep - yet another movie helped dredge this last one out of the grey matter ) OK. So assuming that I have remembered correctly and Betelguese is actually a star, here we go. Gimme five movies starring any actor or actress with the initials G.H.

Yep, Murray, Betelgeuse is a good one. It's in Orion too! Everybody forgets the sun. When asked for the nearest star, most say Proxima Centauri, which is about 4 light years away forgetting the sun. Where the Boys Are, The Happy Hooker Goes to Washington, Zorro the Gay Blade, A Hard Day's Night, Yellow Submarine. Gimme five sports that use a round ball.

Ok, I'm having a guess... I'm going to offer more than 5 and hope that I've got some of them. Not sure if this is violating the rules of the game. Mumbai (formerly Bombay - I understand it's the most populated city in the world) Delhi would have to be in there as well Tokyo Beijing or Shanghai - I'm not sure Sao Paulo - certainly possibly Moscow I wonder about Cairo New York is my last guess Assuming I have 5 in there - gimme the names of 5 National Parks in South Australia

If I'd thought hard, I'd have probably come up with 3, but the last couple would have eluded me. It's nice to stretch the brain cells a bit and resist googling until I have thought of 5. Ok, my girl's names: Jessica Daisy Amy Jasmine Sarah I notice they were in the top 60 for 2006 - so I guess that's pretty popular. It seems that unless your dog is of the hairless variety, then it will shed it's hair; even it it's just minimally. Gimme 5 dog breeds that you might consider buying if you wanted to have a relatively hair-free life.
