Step 2 - Categories | Forums | Topics | Posts + how to subscribe

What are they and how can I use them?
One of the requests we had was to simplify subscriptions. i.e. to allow people to anonymously subscribe to a section of the BB so they get an email notification when someone else has replied to something they are interested in.

The big question was - how do we cater for the people that like to be selective in their subscriptions and also save time for those who want to know EVERYTHING all the time?

The answer was breaking everything down into portions.

So Fiona's BB (Buletin Board) is broken up into Categories of Discussion Forums, Forums full of different topics and Topics laden with message Posts.

So where ever you see "Subscribe to Category" or "Subscribe to Forums" or "Subscribe to Topic" you have the ability to tag that section of the BB like a Greenpeace Scientist tags a rare sea creature and you can keep track of what's happening by being sent information to your email address.

You can also unsubscribe at any time by clicking on "Unsubscribe ...."
