Just to let you all know that the worldwide title has now settled on Royal Exile. It was to be called Exile's Wrath but I think Feist has come up with a similar sounding title and our books are being released in the same month across UK and that would inevitably lead to confusion somewhere.
So we've returned to a title I originally suggested and the editors in Sydney, London and New York feel happy with this one. Today I received the main copy edit notes from my lovely editor in New York so by mid April we'll be moving to first pages.....it's all happening very quickly for Valisar.
So the release dates are now, September 1 for Australia in trade and February 2009 for paperback; October 1 in hardback for Britain and February I believe for the paperback; March 2009 for the USA in trade.
France, Germany, Netherlands.....thanks for making such a success of The Quickening. Hopefully all the other series will follow in due course.

March!? Fooey!
Well, I suppose, if I must look on the bright side, it'll make a nice birthday present.

Hi 95th. Royal Exile will hit UK bookshelves on October 1, 2008.
There is a catch
. It's in hardback only on that date. I'm not sure if it's comng out in trade or going into paperback immediately but that would be about mid year 2009 for the soft covers I would guess.

It looks like I'll have another book to look out for Fiona, I have enjoyed your stories so far. You do some great plot twists that deliver the unexpected, I hope you have some planned in this new book.
