Today I began a new volume of the Valisar saga. It's still unnamed although we have some options - I just want to wait and see which one rolls off my tongue the easiest. I always prepare with my magical equation i.e. date begun, deadline for delivery, how many weeks that is, how many actual working days of those weeks I'm giving myself, and then my daily word count. So that's all in place. I'm off and running - the prologue is in the vault. Wish me luck! Fx

Good luck, as always! Can't wait, already feeling the trepidation! Hooray for a worldwide release! Means that along with Matthew Reilly I can finally enjoy some solid australian-based reading! Keep up the good work as you always do, I loved trinity the most so im glad that Valisar is going to have an element of that!

Hi, I'm most impressed by the gobbledygook! Thanks for enjoying Royal Exile so much. That's so good to hear. When I noticed activity on this thread I just assumed it was about book 3 because, in a weird sort of synchronicity, I have just written the prologue to book 3 - King's Wrath - and I thought I'd already let you all know that I'd begun it. Anyway, volume 2. Wow, that feels like a long time ago. Tyrant's Blood releases in September in Australia, October in UK and Feb/March 2010 in the US I believe. Europe will catch up. France will be first ... probably around March/April 2010. I haven't even seen the cover yet but I'm going to chase that up today. I suspect it will be blue/green as a contrast to the red of Exile but I'll know shortly and confirm. I know I've got to go through one more set of proofs and then it's done and dusted, ready for production and printing. Thanks to all for your anticipation. F

When is the cover going to be posted? I've been visiting here practically every day. I'm so looking forward to reading it, Fiona, that I've decided to read The Percheron Trilogy. About a hundred pages through Odalisque and loving it! I was going to wait to buy it, but because of my own "Personal Economic Crisis" (i.e. the fact I have no money at the moment), I haven't been able to buy books for about 6 months. IT'S SO PAINFUL! So when I found your books in the local library, I got all excited and borrowed Odalisque. As I said, so far so good. BUT PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE reveal the cover to us soon. I'm nearly bursting at the seams. Link.
