I've been merrily working away on the second edit of this manuscript and suddenly realised it's leapt to nearly 100,000 words. It will be a very solid but also entertaining read for middle readers who are reading slightly above their age. I'm really looking forward to this one coming out July 2009.

Well, I wrote it a long time ago but it keeps taking a backseat to the other books. The publisher has been trying to find a happy schedule because i do have a lot of books to stream into the system and it rightly doesn't want them all lobbing at the same time or virtually on top of each other and either confusing people or detracting from each other.
We've settled on July next year now, so that should be very workable.
