As you know Fiona, I recently donated this series to my daughters school, I must say I was a bit concerned being a lutheran school what they would think, We the principl loved them, she thought that they were brilliant and we ended up haveing a very serious disscusion on how to get the kids to read them. Well for me that was easy, I just got E to take them into the classroom and talk about them and before you knew it they all wanted to read them.

What  was really interesting was that the principl wanted more, she didnt want the story to end.

Im glad she loved them, E was really thrilled to be able to show them off.

That is absolutely fantastic! We should lend the P a set of The Quickening - not for the school to read - but she's obviously a fantasy fan. We need to get her going on the grown up stuff. Plus, The Whisperer is not that far away now. Something she can definitely share with her Middle School if she looks after children past Junior Primary. Thanks for speading the word so well! Fx

Thats a great Idea, I will lend her my set, as its going with us anyway so it wont be packed.
