Having read the Trinity Trilogy and The Quickening last year on holiday - yes all 6 books in 2 weeks! we managed to get hold of the Percheron Trilogy in time for this year's holiday.

A fantastic story which had my mind working overtime trying to work out how the ending was going to come about.

Absolutely brilliant

Thank you

Hi Bramble Love that name! Might have to pinch it for a character! Thank you for reading my books - and so fast....and enjoying them so much. I love readers like you! Really appreciate it and especially for sharing it with me. I write in a void and it's a lonely business so it's always incredibly special to know when the stories have reached out and touched people in some way. And what are you waiting for.....Royal Exile is out! F

A great big Thank You from the UK! I'm relatively new to fantasy, having only been introduced to it a year or so ago when I read the Belgariad by David Eddings on a friend's recommendation. Was previously a crime junkie (so may well have to try your crime work soon) but have been hooked on fantasy since.

I stumbled across Trinity whilst searching for new (to me) authors and was sucked in immediately. I found myself living in a whole new world and could easily 'lose' myself for hours on end. I loved the characters and thought Goth was inspired!! The twists kept me turning pages long after I should have been asleep and I liked that you're not afraid to let bad things happen to major characters. Having devoured that series, I read the Quickening in a week, a testament to your writing skill considering I work full time and have a 3 year old. I'm now half way through Goddess and loving the setting but can't see it having a happy ending. Maybe I'm wrong, only time will tell :-)

Please keep up your excellent work.  I'm going to move on to Valisar soon, but have decided to try Robin Hobb next. Here's hoping I'll be almost as impressed!

Hi F I think you'll love Robin Hobb. Start from the beginning with Assassin's Apprentice. It's a masterpiece. In the meantime thank you so, so much for discovering my work and giving it a go. I'm thrilled that you've enjoyed the books and wow you have certainly whipped through them. I only have one series left to tempt you with. Beyond that it's crime and mainstream, so please DO enjoy Robin. Happy reading and thanks for your lovely note. F

Yes, Kathleen, the Percheron books will definitely come out in Belgium.  It's my fault actually.  The publisher was gearing up for it but in Australia the Valisar series was about to come out and I suggested we swap it around so Valisar was coming out simultaneously in all the main markets.  If King's Wrath is released by the end of this year across the French-speaking markets then I imagine maybe same time next year for Odalisque, book one of Percheron.  Don't hold me to that because it's the publisher's decision but I think it's a good estimation.

And, perhaps this news might please you...not only is Percheron coming to Belgium but I also am coming to Belgium later this year - in July I believe.  My French pubisher is bringing me through Belgium and Switzerland to meet some booksellers, sign some books, etc.

Thanks for enjoying my books and for your kind note.

All best, F
