Just for those Hobb fans that don't know.  It's out! I have it in my hands now :)

I have read all the Robin Hobb books and with the exception of her last series "Soldier Son"  I have really enjoyed them. Soldier Son was just so so in my opinion. Not bad but not on par with her other works. Please let us know what you think of Dragon Keeper. It is not going to be released in the USA until Jan. 2010 in hardcover. Thank you very much.

I quite liked it.  It is typical of Hobb that she rewrites bits throughout the novel, and the odd section is a bit slow in developing or in pace.

The end was probably the best bit, makes you eager to read the next one!

Hi Heathermyst, my hubby is reading it now, I will be interested to hear how he finds it as he really loved the Liveship Traders series.

I am glad you are going to read it, I really quite like the Lead character in it.

Shell I have to wait until January before the book is released in the states. Hopfully I can find something new to tide me over until then.
