I was wondering if anyone else here is a fan of David Coe? I loved his Winds of the Forelands series with all the plot twists and turns but I never seem to hear much talk about his work on the sites that I visit. Currently I am reading his Blood of the Southlands series and enjoying it. He kind of reminds me of Fiona in that he really draws you into feeling like you actually know the characters.  You might want to give him a look while waiting for Fiona's next book.

It is nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Hello HeatherM David's the most lovely guy and a great writer of fantasy but he isn't sold routinely here on our shelves. Specialist fantasy bookstores will likely carry him - probably in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth but generally across Australia I'm not sure his series are easy to hunt down. He spent a year living here in NSW not so long ago and I was hoping he might begin to crop up more often in the chain stores. It's good though that you promote him. Everyone needs a fan like you, pushing their barrow! You should write to him. F
