For those who enjoy learning these facts I am now halfway into King's Wrath.  But I feel as though there is a huge mountain yet to climb as there seems to be so many storylines shooting off in various directions and I can't see how to close the story down in about the same amount of words that I've already written.  So you may all be in for a bumper volume!  We'll see - it's amazing what an editor can achieve.

Anyway, I'm surprised where I find myself and especially by which characters have allied themselves, who is squabbling, and I've even got a new character arriving.  I just don't need that latter event!  I want less characters to play with.  I will be writing King's Wrath throughout the Christmas and early summer period with my fingers firmly crossed that it will be finished by the beginning of Feb 2010.

Oh my God! Just finished book1 and book 2 of the valisar trilogy.  They were fabulous and absolute credit to you.  Just wondering when the approx.  time is for the release of book 3 in the series, I read that you are half way through writing it.  I just can't wait.

Wow Fiona, just wow.

Book one and two of the Valisar trilogy were absolutely amazing. I bought RE in Holland (english version) spontaniously, but i am very glad I did. TB was harder to get a hold of, but i succeeded and finished reading today.

It feels good to know a writer is just as enthousiastic as their readers about a story. I also have my favourite characters, so not too much killing please!
Feb 2010 would be amazing to have finished KW, but no pressure! If you feel like it needs another 20k words, please by all means, take your time and wow us even more.

Thanks for the updates and good luck sorting out the seperate storylines.

Hi RampageRingo - great name! Thanks. So thrilled you're enjoying the story although it does add a new dimension of fear for me as the writer. I have to admit that I found TB very satisfying so it's really, really difficult to follow it up. But thanks all for your wishes and encouragement. I shall work hard for you. F
