Just wondering if anyone had seen and could tell me if they thought it was okay for a 5 year old girl ( who isn't a total fraidy cat, but is a little bit)

I have only had one friend go so far and apparently it got a little scary.

Thanks all!

I saw it the other day with my 2 1/2 yr old daughter. It has a very heavy New Orleans approach to it through the music and actions. The theme is good throughout it. I did enjoy it and my daughter didn't get scared by any og the bad guys, even though its not the original story. A 5yr old should be fine to watch it.

I saw this movie with a few friends of mine, and enjoyed it... I don't think it would be overly scary (a few voodoo-y scenes, but good music :D ), but everyone I know who has seen is has been 18 and up (and all enjoyed it)...

I did enjoy that it was a traditional cartoon, like the Disney of old. They don't need to rely on CG to make an entertaining yarn, and I'm a sucker for that music heeh
