Once again I watched Little Women.

Yes, this is a rant, here's my soap box <img src=oapbox"> .

Now, I don't care what ANYONE says, Jo should've married Lorie, not Amy.

The old movie states the books Jo writes is My Beth, when I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be Little Women, hence the title of the movie.

Lorie doesn't write to tell Jo he's married her sis, he shows up on the doorstep, she's about to declare her love for him, when he introduces he's "wife" Amy.

Hmph! All round it is one of those movies that is too depressing. Nope, don't like. Not at all.

<gets in box to hide from all those who disagree.>

Cheers and Cherries,
Satine <img src=kippers">

**Contrary to popular belief, I did NOT get my name from Moulin Rouge

I cried when I read the book, cried when I watched to movie (the newer one, with Claire Danes and Winona Ryder).

And I agree, Jo and Lorie should have been together. But the man she did end up with, I liked him very much as well.

In life, does anything really ever go the way it's supposed to??

Soldier - Watch it bud! I may be half your age (okay, maybe under half <img src="> ) But I can still knowck you off your block... :hush

Disc - Things in life never go to plan, but thats why I love reading and occasionally watching movies. It's not real, it's not supposed to be real. So, in the idealic/movie world, she should've ended up with Lorie. Thats all there is to it.

Hehe, okay, me goin now!

Cheers and Cherries,
Satine

Satine

Don't knock Soldier off his block - it's the only thing that makes him tall enough for everyone else to see. If you knock him off we may never find him again.

However, if you insist on this drastic course of action - can I watch? Please.

Judy Garland played that part so well. Loved that movie but the book is something special. Watch the old classic version it is so beautiful... in fact so beautiful it reminds me of Satine!
