Hi everyone

What is everyone doing this weekend? For those in Australia it's a long weekend - yippee! <img src=kip"> For those elsewhere in the world, I don't know but tell me what you're up to anyway.

Scribe, today I went to the Tower of London, and learnt how to use the underground and the public transport system, I'm still very much an amateur though!
And for Sunday I'm going with some friends to an Australian pub here, to celebrate the greatest country on earth with some great aussie beer.
Have a wonderful Australia Day everyone, no matter where you are!

Australia day hadnt come and gone when I posted that, Soldier :P
The bloody tower was amazing, I had the most amazing time wandering around there. I figure that if I stay at all the touristy places in London, I may never actually meet a Londoner!
All the armour and weapons were impressive too, and everyone will think my highlight was seeing the crown jewels, but to be honest, I was most impressed by the history of the tower of London. If those walls could talk!

Hi everyone, I had a quiet long weekend. Did a lot of writing and reading when I wasn't trying to find somewhere cool to sit. We did go out for dinner on Sunday night, that was nice. Saturday night was pretty special too. The kids didn't come home <img src=kip"> :dance :clap :drink

Hey, I love my kids but it's nice to sit back and relax and not have someone say "hey Mum, can I..." every 2 minutes.

Best thing about this week is that only three more days and it's the weekend again!! <img src=lider">

They can talk! If you hang around long enough you will notice many of Londons 'great unwashed' listening, and indeed talking to those very walls. Unless they are just drunk perhaps - who knows.

Not a second is being wasted, I'm sleeping about 2 or 3 hours less every night to cram more stuff in, and because I'm so excited about everything!

hehe take your time Seren. You have plenty of time. You have probably seen half of what London has to offer in 1 day *grins*.

I disagree ... you can live in London for 3 lifetimes and still not see half of what it has to offer.

Seren DIP

I loved the TOWER. Yes and the jewles are ok but like you I loved the history of the place 1066 and all that. I am pleased you have not wasted time... first full day there and you visit the TOWER. Cool.
