G'day all,
My [i]Infernal Machine[/i] has been crashing and burning for a bunch of weeks now. I think it was the steroid addicted mega-ferret that I was using to power it, (after I retired the gerbel.) I have a temporary system in place...powered by a genetically enhanced Giant Sumatran Rat. Angus, the dude down at the Celtic Computer and Pet Shop, told me that genetically enhanced Giant Sumatran Rats are much more suitable, psychologically speaking, for powering cumputers than mega-ferrets. It's a big, ugly sucker called Angus...not after the dude down at the Celtic Computer and Pet Shop...it's named after my grandmother. Don't ask! It's a long story. Angus (the dude, not the rat) says as long as I keep him well fed, Angus (the rat, not the dude) shouldn't go the kids. As if a Giant Sumatran Rat would stand a chance against the Apaches. (Even the youngest, [i]The Feral[/i], would have him gutted, filleted and on the barbe if he so much as gave her a dirty look.)
Nice place you have here...almost like the old cubby-house. (Wasn't the pot-plant on the other side of the beanbags? Though I see we've still got Princess' blood stained rug. Tomato sauce? Yeah, right!)
One thing about not being on the [i]Infernal Machine[/i] is that I've actually had time to read for a change.
I really must tell you about some of them...but for the moment I'm off to catch-up on what's been going on.
