Yes. Hi everybody! *waves*
I'm a German writer of Fantasy, and was pointed here through another writer's board.

I'll look around some more before starting to post randomnly. So far, I like it.

Welcome to Fiona's Heartwood. :wave
A writer - Hmmm... What have you published so far? Have you read any of Fiona McIntosh's work? (5 books). Book 5 has just been released and is already #2 on the Australian best seller list. The group is very generous and supportive so you should enjoy the friendly exchanges. You may also wish to visit www.fantasyscifi.com.au. A new site where so far a few budding writers discuss their work, plus other useful links, info etc.

G'day Falderal/Frippery/Rubbish (It's amzing what a Google search will turn-up.) ...welcome to our humble abode.
Fancy a drink? I'm a tequila fan myself, but I think we have some schnapps hidden around here someplace.
Adios :beer

Well. To my shame I have to admit that Fiona's books just made it to my reading list - but I don't find a lot of time to read now that I'm writing. ,)
My first book is being marketed by an agency right now, albeit in Germany. I'm translating it as well, but it won't make its way into the English language market very quickly. (And Germany needs good Fantasy even more than Australia.)
Oh, a drink. Hm, I don't fance schnapps that much, but a decent Whiskey would be nice.

Please sit back, relax and enjoy.... Usually there are a number of us that jump all over new people (in a nice way!). Alas, most of us are fully imersed in Blood and Memory.
Enjoy your time here
