Nickname M.m (stands for Myrren's mum, I called my 21 month old daughter Myrren)
Real name Claire
Age 32
Appearance Blond hair, blue eyes, 5 foot 10 in height.
Address Perth, W.A. I am originally from Durham in North East England, but I have lived in W.A for 16 years now, so I call Australia home.
Favourite Authors Too numerous to list them all, but top of the bunch would have to be Fiona McIntosh, of course, as well as Anne Bishop.
Favourite Music Anything except heavy metal.
Favourite Food Anything spicy, hot, or that dissolves the inside of my mouth!
I think that about covers the basics!

My name is Clove. Not in real life obviously, I had the really bad luck or scoring two first names. I'm 6'4, so pretty tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, big feet, people always have somthing to say about that. I'm currently wearing size 15's so you can get the picture haha. I'm seventeen years old, doing my HSC at the moment. I love reading, writing, music. I love my music, its like oxygen for me. About a year and a half ago I was diagnosed with nephroblastoma or Wilm's tumor, which is basically cancer of the kidneys. I was in year 11 when this happened, but I've only recently got through it, there is a chance that it can come back, but there is also a chance it won't. So fingers crossed. When I finish my HSC, I'm having fun at schoolies with my mates, then off to Uni to study communications in media studies.

As a new member of the forums here I would like to say a warm hello to you all!
My real name: Kimarah.
My nickname: I don't really have one except for my various gaming alias'.
Little about me: Well, I'm an 18 year old student currently living in Northern Ireland. I study design for video games and movie cg as well as illustration. I'm a little bit of a gamer, slowly swapping playing for designing. I have been devouring books since I can remember.. The first of which being "Flowers in the Attic" by Virginia Andrews. I also devote myself to my musical instruments, my favorites being my violin and electric guitar. (I'm a little bit of a rocker!)
In recent days I have concluded The Quickening trilogy and found myself fallen victim (voluntarily so!) to the beautiful story.. I really cannot describe the feelings I cycled through while reading and I just wanted to thank you, Fiona, for bringing them into creation! Not long after finishing I sprung to my closest bookstore and I'm now starting "Revenge" of the Trinity trilogy.
As a design student and aspiring artist I just wanted to express how much your work means to those who read it, especially myself. You have surely given me strong influence and direction in my themes and prompted me to give more depth to my characters and their place in "my" world. In fact, after recently discovering your website and encouraging words to those who would like to write themselves, I have discovered a whole new motivation to bring together my meager collection of concepts and ideas to create something special of my own. Thank you for your inspiration. I only hope that some day a creation of mine can inspire at least one young person in the way yours have effected me. Best of wishes. I hope to stick around a bit more to see what goes on around here!

"For some reason the forum sees it fitting to insert huge gaps between my paragraphs!
I've tried to fix it with no results. Sorry about that!"The space insertion thing's been going on for years. They're also inserted during editing.
You can get around it by fiddling with the space bar and other tricks. I edited your post, Kimarah, doing that as a demo (I'm a Forum Moderator so I can do that)
. Don't worry about the spacing; it's the words that count.
Phil

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tony and I have lived in London for nearly all my life. Anything that any of you need to know about this town then I am your man so just ask. Fiona is a great friend of mine and I have loved all her books and started with The Quickening which sort of knocked me out with surprise - so much so that I wrote to her and we have corresponded ever since. Since then I have read all her books and I have to say they seem to be getting better and better. I often read the messages that many of you post here and I am always impressed with your undisputed loyalty to Fiona and also her loyalty and gratitude she shows to all of you.
I'm looking forward to particpating on the banter on the site though at the moment I am rushing around trying to get pressies sorted for the big day. London is a nightmare at this time of year but I suspect it's the same for everyone.
Tony

Hello Everyone,
I thought I should introduce myself...
My pen name is Ebonyswanne.
Nic name; Ebony.
I'm 175cm tall with long red hair and bluish/green eyes that seem to change colour depending on my mood and make-up. I'm married with one child a one year old daughter. I have a quirky sense of hunour that sometimes can be a bit cheeky too... I have tendency to hunour in the strangest things... ![]()
I've only started to write in the past 12 months, but I feel I have always had a muse for it. But at the moment I'm just writing my story that seems to jump out at me, I started it with no ambition of getting it published, but who knows...at least my speeling and grammar have improved a lot!!! For many years I made porcelain dolls, each doll as I created her had a personality, likes and dislikes. By the time I finished her it was like she could almost talk. Some people would laugh if I told them that, but I think its just the by product of an over active imagination, and its part of my make-up. I'm enjoying reading the advice that is offered freely here, and I love fantasy world stories. I have read them since I was ten years old, there just seems to be no limits on what an author can do in their own universe. Fiona's books caught my eye a while back. Myrren's gift was different in the way Wil's soul changed bodies, overall it's a fantastic series to read. Mostly I love to read, get into a story and see where the characters are going to end up on the journey...
Anyway...see you around the forum...![]()
