170,000 words and counting. Another two chapters and I'll be finished...can't believe it. What a long journey this series has been and how complex this simple story has become.

Officially moving onto Percheron, June 1. Got to stay ahead of you lot! (grin)

<img src=mg"> Fear not and let's not go fish. Fiona's stated philosophy was to produce a book every six months so unless that has suddenly changed - your patience will be tested for much less than the dreaded 18 months... bake cakes:eyebrow instead of go fish...

One trillogy per 18 months you must read very slowly. ,) I'm yet to come across one that hasn't induced me to put my life on hold for a day while I read it. If I do badly in my exams next week I'm blaming Blood and Memory!

After finishing Blood and Memory - what to do, what to do? (Besides reading other authors) Well - I discovered that eating cake (not even baked lemon or berry cheescake) was not the answer to filling in time between Fiona's much awaited books. I read it again so that the first impressions were supported with new insights. Reading it again is actually quite fulfilling - you already know what to expect but now that you know the ending - you can spend more time reading not scanning and you actually absorb more detail. Try it!!! Let me know if you too have new insights missed first time around... build your own bridges.... :yes
