Ok so I have sent an email to my contact at Griffin Press asking them if we could bring a small group to witness Fiona's new book being printed.

I"ll post any information I receive.

I have had a phone call today from a lovely lady called Vicki who is the executive assistant at Griffin Press. She indicated that it would not be a problem with them as long as Fiona's publisher ok's it.

Due to confidentiality and that they are contracted by the publisher she must first get there approval.

So keep watching this space.

I rang Griffen the other day to see if we could take a class though as some of our kids are making books.

They said no for security reasons but did i want them to send me out some stuff of course I said yes please.

When i go to work today a huge box was waiting for me full of goodies, they sent stuff to show kids how the books start off through to the finished product, book covers and a few free books thrown in too.

It was fantastic.:moon

We have been given he official nod by Griffin Press.

Now all we have to do is wait until printing day and Fiona can ask her publisher.

Lets all cross our fingers and hope they say yes.

We have the go ahead from Fiona's publisher and are awaiting an email from Griffin Press on a date to visit.

Wont be long now.
