Hi Snowy

I've just signed off on the line edit which is the very last thing we do before it goes to print and by which time we're all tired of reading the 650 pages or so!

The cover art is fantastic. I am thrilled with it and can't wait to see it on bookshelves.

Booksellers around the country have read it and so far so good - we're getting hearty thumbs up everywhere and they're ordering in good numbers for the Christmas blitz.

December 1 it hits. I am very excited. Book 2 is finished and delivered to the publisher but I've been extremely busy with editing book one, playing with the map, blah blah that I haven't really got much further in book 3 than chapter one.

I shall still do my best to have it finished by close 2003.

Wish me luck. Thanks for dropping by. F

Hi Fiona,

This is Lisa from Borders Cafe in Adelaide Borders (Fantasy Club). I just wanted to say that i absolutely LOVED The Quickening and have just a few words.... How long until the next one???? Agghhh, i should have waited until Book 1 was out in the store before reading it so i wouldn't have to wait so long for the next one! I finished Book 1 in just one day! I have read it twice already since i saw you last week at the Fantasy Club.

Will you be there on the 3rd November? I have the day off so i will finally be able to make it! My wedding is 5 days after that so i will probably be so hyped up about that!! LOL

Keep up the good work.
Lisa O'Rourke
