Well what else is there to say, but get writing...must go faster. Hugely looking forward to next series, only started reading the other one as something to do...seven days later, 154 cups of coffee, zero sleep and two blurry eyes, was entirely satisfied.

Magnificent stuff...reminds me of me really...whatever

Go Fiona. I guess we are luckier than most fans of books.. you keep us all well informed of what is happening with Work n progress and publishing etc. We are fortunate that you are so lovely and visit us here often enough that we feel we know you.

I for one value your time on this board and I know you care for the people here.

So, I will try to be patient and wait for the next book... I intend to read this one over a week to really savour every word.

Thanks for your work and thank you for being YOU.

I know, I hate the wait too but in early November HarperCollins' sales team around Australia was selling in its March 2003 range of titles to bookshops who were having to give their orders five months in advance for books which probably weren't even in their editing phase yet! When I began to grasp how far ahead the publisher is working I could appreciate why it feels like books are taking too long to reach our shelves..especially when you know the manuscript is ready. Rest assured we will work with six month releases rather than 12.

To be honest I've got about 70 - 80 pages to go on Destiny and am baulking at finishing it...always a little depressing to finish.

You are a well loved person, my god I'll have to check out what goes on in here more often....oh those long lonely nights...

Fantastic news on the books Fiona. Any chance of a Melbourne signing as well? Looking forward to the new book and the new series.
