Thank you, thank you one and all for your fantastic and uplifting and extremely reassuring praise for Blood and Memory. I was warned once of book twos. And I've discovered they're definitely the hardest to craft - it''s the meat in the sandwich and where all the hardest yards are done to answer for one's sins in book one and then try and set up for the big climax whilst aiming to keep springing a few surprises of its own, keep the pace relentless, do all the main character development, ensure it's exciting blah blah. The middle books make me nervous. I eat even more chocolate and my dreams become twisted and even more ridiculous than usual. So you have saved me from my own demons everyone. thank you for making me feel so good today, thank you for being so faithful to the story and such loyal readers, thank you for buying the books - I know you have a huge choice and plenty of other important things to spend your money on. THANK YOU! AND I FEEL ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE FOR BRIDGE OF SOULS BY THE WAY! :sick

Hmmm... I can see a long queue developing for the privilege. I wonder how many other authors can boast their own personal support team who do massages as well as provide the chocolate.

What, I gotsta turn-up with chocolate too ??? No Problemo, I know where the Apaches keep their stash. Let's see. A couple of Freddo Frogs, a Flake, two Mars bars and a block of Cadbury's Dairy Milk. Actually, forget the Dairy Milk, that's belongs to my Mad Lebanese Wife...I don't have the nerve to take that. (Not if ever plan to go to sleep again.) Hope that still keeps me in the running. Woahhh!!! You say that the Apaches have a stash of chocolates somewhere where you can gettum? Have you gottem? Sounds dangerous but a worthy challenge to win admiration from us mere mortals - after all anything to assist Fiona's writing success right? To win further admiration you offer the whole stash to your Lebanese wife and Fiona - the rest of us don't like chocolates. What kinds of chocolates do Apaches stash? Anything in particular that aids writing a good yarn about how this guy finds a stash of chocolates but doesn't eat even one? Your celtic proverbs are challenging - how much chocolate do you eat before writing them?

Fitting that my first post on this site is to add to your embarrassment Ms McIntosh. Terame from over on fantasyscifi.com mentioned your work. My only complaint is that I didn't take his advice immediately!!!!!!!! When I thought oz fantasy writer, too many bad memories stabbed me in the brain. You've given hope to a jaded reader of oz fantasy with the tales of Wyl and co. :nw :nw :nw :nw :nw :nw :nw :nw
