I've only just read 'The Quickening' book 1 (Myrrin's Gift), and i thought it was one of the best books i've ever read (and i do read alot:lol ) on the same level as Robin Hobb's books (which were also inceredible), and i can't wait to get book 2+3 (took me like 1.5 days to finish #1:flame ) Esentially it was an astronimacal book :bananas

G'day DR...for some reason I like your name. Welcome to our humble abode...here's your complimentary tequila...pick a bean-bag and park it. And get hold of Trinity...then you'll understand why we're all here. Adios :pimp OldCelticSaying It is much easier to apologise than to seek permission.

Welcome dragon reborn - love the graphic you added too... You have great taste and keen mind - indicated clearly by your appreciation of The One's writing skills - you will equally love Blood and memory and will be pleased to know that Book 3 (Bridge of Souls) is scheduled for release in Dec. What made you 'like' the book - characters, storyline, suspence, unpredictable turns i nthe story, etc etc etc - it would be interesting to read what sparked your reaction and connection. Be well and happy

To Amirzand01: Ty Yeah, i'll try and get Blood and Memory and can't wait till Bridge of Souls is released in Dec.(In time for Christmas). What made you 'like' the book? Well, the characters were definitly part of it (how could the not?) Myrrens gift also played a part in it (pretty original and cool ,)) Suspense was excelletent (although i barely stopped reading reading unless i had to) basically the whole book was great whith everything a book should have. (how funny is this pic?)

OOOwwhhh - gotta hurt. One flap too many and you go down under thin ice. Perfect pic to add to my Powerpoint presentation for Thursdays lesson - students will luv it - thankx. Your concise comments about the book make it clear that the book met all expectations and fulfilled Fiona's primary objective - cant put it down. keep cool or stay warm and stay away from any penguins doing aerobic exercises... LOL.:flame

Characters, characters, characters! Plot wasn't quite what I like, but the central characters are so real that I was swept along anyway and hassling the book store owner for the release date within hours of reading the ladt page! :) J
