Wow. That's all I have to say.
I'm at Chapter Seven, and it's bloody brilliant.
Excellent work Fiona. Bridge of Souls is a masterpiece. Another one.

I'm only a few chapters ahead of you - and as you say - WOW and brilliant - there is always yet another unexpected aspect to digest - non stop unravelling - and then..... Wow..... didn't see that one coming.
Keep on reading on and enjoy. :yes

SPOILERAGE FOR BoS, SO if you HAVEN'T read it yet, don't read this till you've FINISHED it.
I finished it this morning.
You are so clever, Fiona, I would NEVER have expected that to unravel.
Wyl stayed as Caliech? And here I was wondering how the hell he would end up as Celimus. But, gah, you have an uncanny knack for making me want to hurl your books across the room. I never do - I can't bring myself to for I am terrified of bending the cover or ripping the pages. But Rashlyn changing Gueryn, I almost did. I slammed the book shut, then punched it a few times, so angry. Graaaa. And I was SO glad that Wyl told Valentyna. I braced myself for her reaction - which wasn't as huge as it might have been, because she'd half figured it out. But that was good, that it wasn't ridiculously big and she managed to accept it - well, what she was able to digest afore Celimus RUDELY interrupted. Haha, carving knife. Sorry, slightly distracted. But wow, I laughed so hard through some parts - like Aremys declaring his love for Ylena/Wyl to Caliech, I couldn't read further after that. I had to stop and compose myself for a few minutes. And in chapter five, Myrt in love with Loth, that one just flew in from left field. Well, maybe I was just in such a hurry to read that I skipped over those parts with the clues. Wouldn't surprise me. I need to go back and read it. And what else was good - besides all of it - umm...oh, Ylena/Wyl kissing Valentyna. I was so shocked, not that I didn't know it was coming, but that Wyl actually did it.
It's amazing how developed your characters are - I felt in parts that I was with Wyl in Romen's/Faryl's/Ylena's/Caliech's bodies. And then, all the other characters, I was hovering in the back of thier minds, sharing the experience and emotions with them. Which is why I laughed so hard at Aremys, because I am certain he would have roared with laughter about it later if he and Wyl had talked about it afterward. And the fact the Ylena kissed Valentyna, I was terrified of her reaction - as was Wyl.
I am so impressed with the wrap up to it. In my opinon it couldn't have ended better. Perhaps a little more tying of the loose ends with Loth, Elspyth and Gueryn. Crys too. It would've been nice if they all appeared briefly in the epilogue and said hello to Wyl and Valentyna, but otherwise was perfect.
*chuckles* I was reading the part with the Dragon King and Fynch, and how Fynch figured out he was son of Magnus and I stopped thinking - hang on, that's Gyl... - then realised I had my trilogies confused. That made me laugh again. And there was another mention of Tallinor in there too - Jessom. Loved it. I hope that Briavel and Morgravia appear in Percheron trilogy. Hurry up Fi, I'm hungry for more!!
Brilliant. Please, you need to do some book signings in Melbourne so I can get my entire collection signed. Then when you are an internationally acclaimed author, I can proudly say that I didn't leap on the bandwagon.
Well done, Fiona.
