Hi Fiona

I,m a new fan in the UK and had to write and tell you thank you for saving me from having to reread all my old books due to the glut of rubbish that seems to be hitting bookshops just latley.

Have now read both books in the quickening and had to let you know i love both of them.

The first installment was (forgive the term) a real nut grabber, it refused to let me put it down and read it in one sitting. The ending left me wanting more. The charecters are superb and leave you either cheering for them or wanting to do serious harm to them.

Blood and memory has carried on in the same vein a little slower in pace but the plot developments and the revelations still wont let you put it down. I cant wait for the next book.

Its not that often that i find a new writer (too me) that i like from the first page, so all i can say is keep it up and not leave so long between books as its like torture waiting for them to appear.

I know intend to look for more of your work and add you too my list of must read authors.

Look foreward to chatting and letting you know what i think of your work.

Bye for now

Martin
