Hi I am new to this forum, just finished reading the incredible Myrren's Gift. , I absolutely loved it. , There are a few writers I am totally in awe of, Katherine Kerr, George RR Martin - and now Fiona McIntosh is amongst them! , Love Romen - what a hunk. :-)

Romen is dead sexy, I agree. Even I couldn't believe what was happening when it was happening. However, Spur Lazar of Percheron might even be a tad more delicious. You'll meet him soon in Odalisque, book one of the new series. Thanks for reading Myrren and hope you'll enjoy the other books of The Quickening. And as for mentioning me in the same sentence as GRRM....well, I shall just float to bed tonight. I'm hoping to meet him at Worldcon next week. Wish me luck! F

Good luck to meet him Fiona!  I will definitely enjoy the next book,in fact I am currently bullying my boyfriend into buying it for me from the net.  I think he is disgruntled that, over the past three days I have had more of a relationship with your book then I have him.  So I'll let him buy me something, to cheer him up......   ;o) Jen

Hello LadyM,

Ordinarily I'd offer you a jug of tequila, point out the bean-bags and give you a voucher to a place called Princess' Dungeon...but, what does one offer a genuine English Lady. ( With Fiona it's easy...chocolate !!! )

I know...do you want a straw with that jug ?

Hopefully the others will be by soon with their own unique welcome gifts. In the mean time...jump in and tell us what you've read and seen that you liked. ( Unless, of course, it was Troy...in which case you should lie. )

Adios:pimp

Old Celtic Saying

It appears I'll live forever...God doesn't want me and The Devil's afraid I'll take-over.
