Just spent 28 of last 32 hours reading book one and two of this series, should have paid attention to Hobb's ",Just another chapter", comment. I find out today that I would need to wait till febuary to finish series since I live in canada so I decided to order one online which I'll be doing tomorow, also getting Feast tomorow so I'll haveanother good book to read. After I get book three I think I'll take a small break from reading, I've slowed down past couple of months only reading the 5 malazan books and the 2 everness books. anywyas this post took me 20 min to write so I guess I may as well go to bed

Welcome :)

We often wish the publishers would bundle Fiona's books with some 'no-doze' pills (or at least strong coffee and chocolates) and a do not distrurb sign for our partners/children/dogs and cats!

be warned.... Fiona's first trilogy (Trinity) does not ease up on the pace either.... and Percheron shows now mercy at all!!!

Hi Blade - that was certainly a massive reading session by anyone's standards. Well done and thanks hugely for enjoying it so much. We've needed a network to open up in Canada so it's terrific to have you at the Board. In fact, my absolute favourite storyteller is a French Canadian - Guy Gavriel Kay. Hope you've read him and Hobb....no break from reading if you haven't! :P Welcome to the gang here and hope you'll visit often. Cheers, F

Was wondering what books pr series by them would be good to start with, a good book that I read last year written by a canadian author The stoneholding / Mark James. Check it out if you have the time, it has a celtic feel to it and I love the setting.  I'm prolly going to read most if not all your books once they come out in canada, can't you speed up the process?

The Quickening should be in Canada already. Check to see if Myrren's Gift and Blood and Memory are available. Book 3 - Bridge of Souls is out in North Am and Canada for February 2006. Percheron won't be released in the States until late next year (at the earliest), probably early 2007 more likely and I imagine Canada will follow suit as it's linked to the U.S. sales for my books. Unfortunately I have no control but I do push as much as I can. F
